water's edge at seaside Borth y Gest - a pretty and unspoilt village
located less than a mile from the centre of bustling Porthmadog with its
myriad attractions of holidaymakers including the Ffestiniog Railway,
Welsh Highland Railway, good food, harbour, pubs and an array of shops
which straddle the High Street. There are local sandy bays a short walk
from the house and you can walk
along the coastal path to Black Rock Sands beach at Morfa Bychan -which is
also home to Porthmadog's Golf Club- and beyond. ACCOMMODATION:
FIVE bedrooms. (1) D with fitted wardrobe, (2) D (3) S with door to
sun terrace and terraced garden. (4) Loft level 3S (low headroom) (5) Loft
level 2S on the landing area, low headroom views to the sea, colour TV. Bathroom/w.c.
with shower over the bath and a shaver point. Kitchen with gas cooker,
fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Dining room
with solid fuel stove. TV lounge with colour TV - including Freeview
Channels, DVD player and electric fire. Second lounge with double sofa bed and
en suite shower/w.c and tumble drier behind louvre doors. Terraced
woodland garden
on three levels with sunny aspect, mature trees and shrubs, sun terrace
and views to the sea and mountains of majestic Snowdonia. Parking is
available opposite and unrestricted road side parking is also generally
available. Gas central heating means that the cottage is ideal for
out-of-season lettings. A travel cot and a high chair are provided.
Electricity and gas are charged extra via meter readings on arrival
and prior to departure. The changeover day
for bookings at this property is SUNDAY*, but may be negotiable out
of peak season. Bed linen hire available please check direct with owner
