Wonderful four star
accommodation in the historic Lodge of a former manor house -
once the home of Lord Snowdon and HRH Princess Margaret.
Only two miles from the centre of Caernarfon which is famous for
its majestic medieval castle on the banks of the
Menai
Strait
. A very short drive from the mountains of Snowdonia, slightly longer to
the beaches of
Anglesey
and the Lleyn. Bontnewydd sits on the A487 road and has a couple of shops
and excellent food at the village pub. Holidaymakers staying at the
Lodge are welcome to use the 15 acre grounds, bar and dining facilities
of the Plas Dinas Country House (a few hundred yards down the drive.)
ACCOMMODATION: Two bedrooms. (1) A super king size double (2) a twin
or a super king size if requested in advance. A cot and high chair are
available. Bathroom/w.c. with a shower over the bath. Also a ground
floor w.c./utility room with washing machine and a tumble dryer.
Attractive kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer,
dishwasher and microwave. Separate dining room with open fire and hi-fi
with CD player, radio and ipod/MP3 connector. Comfortable lounge with a
double bed settee, open fire, TV (Sky plus channels), DVD. Shale patio area
with rural aspect and outside furniture. Parking for three cars. The
Lodge offers a
wi-fi broadband facility for a small additional charge (own laptop
required),
