A modest whitewashed mountain cottage dating to the 1840s outside the hamlet of Fachwen near Llanberis in beautiful Snowdonia. Detached, stone-built, simple cottage at the end of a narrow meandering country lane in an idyllic and peaceful location. The area enjoys fine woodland, lake and mountain views. About two miles on foot to Llanberis via a former slate quarry. The cottage stands in about ½ an acre of gardens with trees, shrubs and grassy playing area. Ideal for walker/climbers.

ACCOMMODATION: Three bedrooms. D with mountain views, 2S, bunks. Also folding bed. No cot. Ground floor bathroom/WC with shower. Kitchen/diner with electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave and storage heaters. Sitting room with ingle nook beams, elec. fire and two storage heaters, 28" digital colour TV with DVD,  books for light (and heavy, mainly historical) reading. Sun room with sofa, table and folding chairs. Cottage also has automatic washing machine and tumble drier. Parking space. All rooms have electric fires. Log and coal fires - fuel not provided. Electricity is now included in the fee. Weekends sometimes available.
