A detached cottage dating
back almost 500 years located on the east bank of the Dwyfor river in the
village
of
Llanystumdwy
which was the boyhood home of Lloyd George. The village has a country pub,
riverside cafe, ancient bridge, riding school and Rabbit Farm. The seaside
town of
Criccieth
with a choice of restaurants, pubs, shops, mainline railway station, golf
and medieval castle is only a mile or so away and the whole of the
Lleyn and Snowdonia is easily accessible by car. The cottage has whitewashed
stone walls, beams (low headroom in parts) and the charm and character of a
16th century dwelling. ACCOMMODATION: Three bedrooms. D,
2S, S. No cot (younger children are not encouraged). Ground floor shower
room/w.c. (with a seat in the shower). New (2008) fitted kitchen with
electric oven, hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. New (2008)
conservatory/dining room. Living room with TV (including some Sky channels)
and video. Second sitting room with TV. Separate laundry room with washing
machine and dryer, shed for bike storage. Patio area for alfresco dining
within the sound of the river. Large lawned area for sitting out or play.
Ample parking. The fee includes bed linen, towels and tea towels, gas
central heating. Electricity is on a £1 meter.
